Personal Bio: Dr. Stevenson is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is an engaging Mom of two and loves to interact with her children at home, school and in extracurricular activities. She is active in her community through volunteering and mentoring. Dr. Stevenson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is based in the Washington DC metro area. She holds high standards of conduct for her life and incorporates such values in-patient care.MD received from Indiana University School of Medicine: Indianapolis, IN.

Admired for her unyielding dedication to patient care and exceptional bedside manner, Dr. Aundrea Stevenson is a distinguished physician in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

 

She is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana where she graduated from Broad Ripple High School. During her time at BRHS she enjoyed many activities. Topping the list of favorite past times were cheerleading, participating in the Dance Magnet and ascending ranks in the JROTC program.

 

Dr. Stevenson attended Indiana University via the Groups Scholars Program. While at Indiana University she was a dedicated student majoring in biology and obtaining minor degrees in psychology and chemistry. One of the highlights of her undergraduate career was joining Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. After graduating from Indiana University, she completed a Master of Science in Biology at Purdue University. She went on to study in the Master of Science in Medical Science Program where she distinguished herself through academic excellence.

 

She obtained her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2011 after earning the coveted Lula and George Rawls Award of Excellence Scholarship. She then relocated to Washington, DC to complete residency training at the George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Stevenson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She holds high standards of conduct for her life and incorporates such values into patient care daily. She is active in her community through volunteering and believes strongly in mentorship.

 

Dr. Stevenson is an engaging mom and enjoys interacting with her 2 children at home, school and extracurricular activity. She demonstrates a strong commitment to education for learners of all ages, especially children. Criteria: Minimum GPA of 3.2. Pursuit of a degree in the medical field (ie nursing, dentistry, medicine, physical, occupational, speech therapy, surgeon or veterinarian. Demonstration of commitment to service. Minority Student.
